This is the one picture I have of Thanksgiving. What can I say...I was a bit preoccupied with all the yummy food.
Here are the facts:
1. when my family comes to town we all like to be together
2. the day after Thanksgiving is prime shopping time
3. my sister lives by the Gilroy outlets (which open at midnight)
Therefore...we all chose to stay with my sister and her family in their 1500 square foot 3 bedroom home. This explains the picture above. You can't see all the kids but I think there are 5 on the floor and 1 on the couch and a couple babies in pac-n-plays. I had my choice of an air-mattress or a bunk bed but at least I had a bedroom. It really was super fun and Kadie was such a great hostess. I don't think she said one bad word the whole weekend...at least not out loud.
Besides yummy food and lots of shopping we also took the kids to the beach. Marin was mad when I wouldn't let her wear a bathing suit. I think she wanted to prove it wasn't too cold to swim and promptly soaked herself from head to toe when she tripped while fleeing the waves. Click here for more on our Thanksgiving fun.
