Christmas is a Wrap

I am usually anxious to pack up Christmas and all it's trimmings because the house feels so clean and uncluttered. But now that I have everything packed safely away for next year the house feels kinda empty and sad. I want my tree back. But it is long gone...hauled off yesterday by the Boy Scouts. Sigh.....

I should have taken advice from my good friend, Celia, and left my tree up. Click here to see her tree plans http://groundhogdaywithceliafae.blogspot.com/2009/01/o-easterbaum-o-easterbaum.html

I miss Christmas but I do still have these snapshots of Christmas morning I can enjoy.

I bet you thought this photo was of me but it's actually of Grandma and Grandpa Fallows. Can you find them? They joined us for Christmas morning through our video cams. See...they are brightly shining in the background on top of the piano. It wouldn't be Christmas at the Fallows without aebleskivers. What's an aebleskiver you ask? click here to find out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%86bleskiver
I'm still missing my tree. If your tree is still up you should probably invite me over so I can enjoy it. But I won't help you pack it up....it's too soon!

Hey Jodes, I still have my tree. Like your friend I get really depressed when I take down all the Christmas decorations. I'm planning on doing this coming weekend but am not looking forward to it. I will have to go purchase a tanning package.

I usually love my tree and am not ready to part with it on New Years day, but this year I was ready. Maybe next year I won't have a hum bug feeling.
